TIDDLER

For a second time Red Star have worked with Magic Light Pictures to animate a 30 minute Christmas Special for BBC1. TIDDLER is based on the picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, features the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Lolly Adefope, and Rob Brydon and is directed by Andy Martin and Alex Bane.

Red Star partnered with Triggerfish Animation Studios to create all the film’s assets, splitting the animation crew between UK and South Africa and then completed the remainder of the film’s animation visuals in-house. The film’s underwater setting required Red Star’s team to develop the style of this new environment, hitherto unseen in Magic Light’s film adaptations.
